Global megastar Ed Sheeran returns to Baltics

Ed Sheeran

Mark your calendars for August 3rd, 2024 as the multiple award-winning superstar Ed Sheeran is set to grace the stage at the recently renovated S.Darius and S. Girenas Stadium in Kaunas. In the summer of 2024, it'll be Ed Sheeran's only performance in the entire Baltics. The concert is part of Ed Sheeran’s record-breaking “+ – = ÷ x Tour” (“The Mathematics Tour”) with a unique jaw-dropping 360-degree production.

Ticket sales will begin on the 26th of October at 10:00 AM on Biļešu Serviss, Piletilevi, and Bilietai. With limited stadium capacity, don't miss your chance to secure your tickets. Please check out this page for detailed information regarding ticket-buying rules!

It is announced that the talented British singer, Calum Scott, is confirmed as a special guest at the concert, with the possibility of more surprises in store.

After a 5 years gap the global megastar Ed Sheeran returns to the Baltics with his most impressive show yet. You will enter to see the amazingly engineered ‘in-the-round’ stage design, which with every rotation gives the fans a chance to be face-to-face with the musician, and above is built a 360-degree display with six double-sided screens shaped like guitar plectrums that broadcast closeup views for those in the seats. And finally, there will be magnificent, yet discrete pyrotechnic effects, accentuating certain parts of the songs.

The concept of the Mathematics Tour is simple: to showcase Sheeran’s work across the last 12-13 years. That's why the set-list includes all of the hits from his more than a decade long and successful career: Shivers, The A Team, Castle on the Hill, Thinking Out Loud, Photograph, Perfect, Shape of You, Bad Habits, Sing, You Need Me, I Don't Need You, Eyes Closed, Overpass Graffiti, Galway Girl, etc. The lucky ones, who already had a chance to witness his previous concerts, do not have enough words to describe the magnificent:

“The show that will live long in the memory”; “This concert was one for the books, and I wouldn’t change a thing. These experiences are truly amazing”; “If there was any concert that I definitely didn’t want to miss, it was this Ed Sheeran concert”.

At the same time the concert goers admit that: “despite the sheer size of the stadium and its high level of production (there is theatrics and pyrotechnics when appropriate), the evening feels somewhat intimate. Perhaps that’s because Sheeran is positioned in the centre of the crowd with a revolving Hamilton-esque stage that ensures he faces everyone.”

That is exactly what the production team behind Sheeran wanted to achieve:

We just wanted to do something that we hadn’t done before…to make the show as special and unique as we could. It’s a huge show in terms of industrial presence, but it has a very theatrical feel and attention to detail that give it its unique look.”

Without any exaggeration, Ed Sheeran is one of the most successful recording acts and songwriters ever. The media lavishly sprinkles epithets to describe his contribution to world popular music:

"The de facto voice of a generation", “Global pop culture ubiquity", “One of the biggest pop careers of this generation”, "British music icon".

With 7 studio albums, 17 EPs, 65 singles, and so on, Sheeran has sold over 150 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists in history. The list of Sheeran's award nominations and wins reaches 467 and 185 in each of the respective categories, including several Grammy, Brit, BBC, MTV, Ivor Novello, AMA, etc., etc.

Each of Sheeran's 4 world tours has broken one record after another one. The previous “Divide Tour” was attended by almost 9 million people, and it grossed almost $1 billion. There will be no surprise that “The Mathematics Tour” will overtake even those figures. So, this is your chance to witness it for yourself!
