From September 8 - 10 in Lithuania will be held What’s Next in Music? international showcase festival and conference on innovations and new opportunities in music industry. It's free to attend, but don't forget to register here.
What’s Next in Music? is a successor of Vilnius Music Week, held from 2012 to 2015, and is organised by the Lithuanian music business association. Every September musicians, industry members and anyone interested in culture and music scene come together at a conference and showcase festival. See preview of previous event:
The showcase festival will be held on two stages at LOFTAS Fest in Vilnius and on Kaunas 2022 summer stage. Around 30 emerging artists from Lithuania and abroad - Clara Giambino (LT / FR), Local Blood, Shkodra Elektronike (AL / IT), NOËP (EE), Quark Effect, Jausmė, Gentle Ropes (UA), dargana, Orai, Basas Pegasas, Gamka, Superkoloritas, Puuluup (EE), Dlina Volny (BY), Martin Wall, Nika Ganga, Liucė, Sirupas, Kosmosonic Konglomerate with Musical Blockchain, KATARSIS, Rūta MUR, Plié, 52 Hertz Whale (SK) and Bel Tempo (LV). The conference will feature diverse topic and speaker line-up. You will have a chance to dive into discussions, ask questions and hear more about local band coverage in global scene, music licensing for TV and films, data behind music, AI algorithms, music NFTs, foreign markets and music agents.
