At the end of May, the latvian band Audiokvartāls will release their second studio album "Viss (nav) tik slikti" (eng. "All (is not) so bad") and invites everyone to the album presentation concert on June 11 at Gertrude Street Theatre.
The concert will feature all the songs on the new album as well as the compositions already loved by the listeners. This will be the band's biggest solo concert to date, so the band promises a variety of surprises, energetic show and guest artists - Marta Ritova, Katrīna Dimanta and others who are kept in secret.
"This is our first big show that we are organizing just by ourselves, so this is a very satisfying process for us. We released our debut album just in time when Covid-19 virus started, so we had to cancel the presentation and the tour. We hope that this time everything goes as planned and we are waiting for this show and the other gigs to finally meet with our listeners in much larger numbers and play the new songs", says band members.
When buying a ticket to the concert, you can also get an album at a particularly good price. It's even a better offer for the very first buyers! Tickets here.
The album was created during the pandemic and includes wide range of emotions from the moments when "viss ir slikti" (eng. "all is bad") to "paradīzē" (eng. "in paradise") and because of that you can find the word "nav" in parentheses in the title of the album, which as band says is open to interpretation. So far listeners have had the opportunity to get acquainted with three singles from the new album: "Sorry mazā", "Paradīzē", as well as "Es nesaprotu, es nemāku" featuring singer Marta Ritova.
After the album presentation at "Ģertrūdes ielas teātris" the band is planning smaller concerts in multiple Latvian cities - Liepaja, Jelgava, Valmiera and elsewhere with the dates being announced soon. More information coming on the band's Facebook.
