Entertaining recollections from his extensive career will accompany these performances.

Expressing his anticipation for the upcoming Bass Warrior Tour 2024, Ellefson shared his enthusiasm:

My musical journey has been that of a warrior, always armed with my bass guitar. I am eagerly looking forward to bringing these songs back to the stage and sharing engaging stories about their creation. It's been an exhilarating ride filled with deep notes and high stakes!

Beyond Megadeth, Ellefson has showcased his talents across diverse musical projects, including Soulfly, F5, Temple of Brutality, and Altitudes and Attitude with Frank Bello of Anthrax. Additionally, he's contributed to Metal Allegiance, a supergroup featuring musicians like guitarist Alex Skolnick and drummer Mike Portnoy.

From a modest upbringing in rural Minnesota to achieving worldwide recognition as part of the metal powerhouse Megadeth, David Ellefson's journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Revered within heavy music circles for his dynamic bass skills, Ellefson has worn many hats over the years as a bassist, songwriter, record producer, and lecturer. His tenure with Megadeth from 1983 to 2002 and again from 2010 to 2021 earned him ten Grammy nominations, multiple gold and platinum records, and global tours.

Accompanying Ellefson on this tour is Italian guitarist and musical director Andy Martongelli, a longtime collaborator who has been an integral part of Ellefson's solo ventures, including Basstory, Altitudes and Attitude, and the Ellefson-Soto tour alongside renowned vocalist Jeff Scott Soto.
