Following a hugely successful project launch and four sold-out concerts at St Catherine's Church in Vilnius last spring, Justinas Jarutis & Jessica Shy invite their listeners to an exclusive concert "Dainos be pavadinimo" on April 15 at the Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas, Lithuania. Tickets here.
Since the beginning of their partnership in music, this great duo has already written more than thirty songs together. Now they decided to perform these songs once again, in the same way as they were created – as a duet. They will not only let the listeners hear the latest and the most popular songs in the magic-filled concert at Žalgiris Arena but will also give them a chance to dive into the creative process and experience it by themselves. The event will be illuminated by one of the country's most famous lighting designers, Arvydas Buinauskas.
Justinas and Jessica have already released three successful tracks together - "Tu palauk", "Alright" and "Rugpjūtis". The latter became one of the most popular songs in Lithuania last year and was nominated for Song of the Year at the M.A.M.A. Awards this year.
Justinas Jarutis and Jessica Shy recently also presented the music video for the song "Ar įsileisi". The song is from Jessica Shy's debut album "Apkabinti Prisiminimus", released in January. This is the duo's fourth collaboration.
The romantic ballad, with its lively piano and guitar sounds, sounds cosy and soothing. Justinas and Jessica's voices complement each other perfectly, telling a heartfelt story about two people's feelings.
The song and the video are about memories and the past, friendship and the eternal question - if the past knocked on your door, would you let it in?
Justinas says: "Jessica and I decided to write the song about what we would do if someone from our past knocked on our door, someone long forgotten and possibly hurt. For the video, we came up with two characters who used to be in a band, a duo. Their paths diverged for some reason, but they live on in their memories of good times."
The video was created by a great team of cinematographers - Gabrielius Bagdonas, Jorūnė Vilkelytė, Matas Berniūnas and Kristupas Zmejauskas.
