With the participation of world-class DJs, the electronic dance music festival UNREAL FESTIVAL will take place for the first time this summer on June 17 at Mežaparks Great Stage in Riga. Festival visitors will be delighted by DJs who are considered to be movers and pioneers in the genre of electronic dance music. Main artists – Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (Belgium and Greece), Tungevaag (Norway), Plastik Funk (Germany), Sammy Porter (UK) and Gaullin (Lithuania). Dmitri Vegas & Like Mike are the kings of the famous music festival "Tomorrowland" and are currently TOP3 DJs in the world.
Local performers DJ Makree, Magnus Eriņš, NF3&Rexton, Levan&24k and BRUNO DRAKE will also be on the stage. The festival is organized by AOK - Andrejosta block event organizers.

The festival is the logical next step of development and step in the operation of AOK. When we started organizing AOK events, they quickly became the most attended parties in the city. Also, AOK stages became coveted DJ performance platforms. People come to us because of the special atmosphere and attitude that we have created together with the team. Sometimes those who wanted to relax even waited in queues, so our desire is to offer it to a thousand times wider range of visitors and create the most ambitious electronic dance music festival in Latvia. This will definitely be the most valuable electronic and dance music genre event in Latvia this year. The top 5 worldwide DJs and a number of other well-known names will meet on one stage. A very special and monumental feeling will definitely be given to this festival by the Mežaparks Grand Stage. In its new form, it will create fantastic acoustic effects. From the point of view of sound and music quality, Mežaparka's Great Stage should be used for organizing events of various genres. The performances of Dmitri Vegas & Like Mike and similar level DJs, Mežaparks Great Stage can bring to Latvia world-class performers of both this and other music genres, helping Riga to develop as a special and popular outdoor stage of Northern Europe.
The UNREAL festival's special distinguishing feature will be the use of augmented reality technology, which is becoming more and more popular in the music industry. AR was first used at a U2 concert show in 2018, followed later by Eminem and Maroon 5 performances. Over the years, the field of AR has developed rapidly, and the Coachella Festival is currently using augmented reality features for the entertainment of guests.
