The biggest festival in the Baltics - Summer Sound 2024 will take place on August 2 and 3, unchanged for twelve years, on the beautiful beach of Liepāja. Concluding the successful past year and preparing for the hot party season, first artists of the Summer Sound 2024 festival have been announced: Bermudu Divstūris, Kreisais Krasts, Astro'n'out, Laika Suns, Satellites LV, and Suistamon Sähkö (FI).

Latvian humorous rap duo, party partisans Bermudu Divstūris have gained a large and reliable audience, a sold-out arena concert, as well as several industry awards during their activity. Emīls Balceris says:
Bratuki and the entire Bermudu Divstūris team are returning to the Liepāja beach with an arena-worthy show. Energy charging, visual enjoyment and new songs. The largest rap association Kreisais Krasts are important creator of the Latvian rap genre and culture. In mid-November, their latest album - "21" was released, which marks the period of their creative activity.
The band which will make you dance - Astro'n'out have been nominated for the Latvian Music Record of the Year award for each album released so far. The recent arena concert marks a new stage in the band's concert life, proving that they have been able to grow a wide audience over time.
Laika Suns blends pop songs and loud rock guitar elements. Laika Suns was founded in 2013, in Riga. The band has so far published several albums and singles, the best known of which are the songs "Pavasari", "Atceres Rīgu vasaras naktīs" and "Nav kur iet".
Satellites LV is a Latvian modern rock band that has been known since 1996. Already with the first recorded and released single "Nekas, nekad" the group shot to the peak of popularity, bringing new breezes to Latvian music. The group has released six studio albums, the most recent of which "Varavīksnes galā" (2017) was awarded the prestigious "Austra award". This year, the group released a new song and video "Asaras" in a new composition.
Finnish ethno-techno ensemble Suistamon Sähkö's performances are colourful, full of musical sounds and rhythms, using interesting instruments, elements of rap music and contemporary dance choreography. Sometimes you can hear the motifs of Karelian or Finnish folk melodies in their music.
The "Summer Sound" festival has become the largest festival in Latvia and among the most important summer outdoor events in the Baltics. Offering a rich program of music and entertainment, which gathered 40 thousand people last year.
During two days, festival visitors have the opportunity to enjoy concerts of more than 70 local and international artists, enjoy various attractions, and shows, and finally, relax on one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe!
