After a convincing performance and victory in the Eurovision Song Contest, the Italian band’s “Måneskin” song “Zitti e Buoni” takes ninth place in the global chart of Spotify, the most popular music streaming platform. A song from Italy reaches such heights for the first time.
In total, “Zitti e Buoni” made the top lists of 29 countries and took first place in 13 of those, including the Baltics – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuanua. With this success and a total of 4 million listens in the timespan of one day, “Zitti E Buomi” has already left its footprint in the history of the music industry as the most listened to Italian song on the Spotify platform.
“Måneskin’s” “Zitti e Buoni” has already achieved double platinum status and is included in the band’s album “Teatro d’Ira – Vol I”, which has just received platinum status following their win at Eurovision.
Lithuanians “The Roop” were the only Baltic act who got into this year’s Eurovision finals where they successfully performed the song “Discoteque” and won the sympathy of the audience, including 12 points from the neighbours – Latvia. A new remix of the song is released by a Finnish producer and DJ The Second Level. The Roop song “Discoteque” has reached 5.9M Spotify listens and 7.3M video views. The song is currently #12 on the Global Spotify chart and #116 on Shazam. Also #TheRoopChallenge is still very active on TikTok and already has 8.5M views.
