Estonian band Frankie Animal brings new music to the listeners through several different perspectives. As band states, "Party Alone" is far from an ordinary album!
This year marks the 10th anniversary for Estonian indie-pop band Frankie Animal. But as if this isn’t special enough, that’s only the beginning for the band's celebrations: the group released their sophomore album called Party Alone on the 18th of February. It's a new milestone in the history of Frankie Animal. The three musicians: Marie Vaigla, Jonas Kaarnamets and Jan-Christopher Soovik have not only released the studio version of the album, but also included an instrumental B-side, mesmerising lyric videos and the commentary from the band.
"Although the title of the album sums up the vibes and reality we all have had to face for the past two years, the music still carries the positivity and hopefulness, which will reach the listeners in four different special ways."
Party Alone is far from being an ordinary album. The first single off the new record called Playful arrived already in summer 2019 and it has become Frankie Animal’s most played song on Spotify and radios all over the country. The double release last year containing singles Peaches / Honey gained a lot of new international fans, reaching some well known music issues, for instance High Clouds and Cool Hunting. Previously the band has been praised by MTV Iggy and Clash Magazine, who described their lead singles off the new record as warm and joyful with killer lyrics.
The album is a 4 dimensional, containing different aspects of the same tracks. A playlist with lyric videos, instrumental version of the full album and the commentary by the band members are just some pieces that complete the mosaic of Frankie Animal’s curated world of Party Alone. Unreleased demos and podcasts filled with bands' own spicy comments in estonian have been released on Valentines Day, 14th February. In addition to all of the streaming platforms, the new studio album will be released on cassette for the first time ever.
