Les Attitudes Spectrales, a Latvian-French punk rock band has unleashed their highly anticipated 4th album, "Songs for No One." Known for their eclectic mix of sub-genres, including psychedelia, noise-rock, shoegaze, and post-punk, this band is making waves in the music scene.
Les Attitudes Spectrales music delves into themes of love, death, and confusion, offering a glimpse into the human experience. But it's not just about their studio recordings. Their live performances are known for being loud and intense, providing an electrifying experience for their fans. Current band members include Rūta Stark on bass and vocals, Julien Stark on guitars and vocals, Adrians Grīns on guitars, and Mārtiņš Kuzmins on drums.
The band's journey began around 2013 when Julien and Ruta Stark embarked on a musical adventure with the goal of "sounding like a rainbow," meaning having an open range for influences and sound, while always being guitar-driven. Their early albums, "Floral Wreck" (2014) and "Where’s my Ghost Milk?" (2015), laid the foundation for their distinctive sound.
Over the years, Les Attitudes Spectrales became deeply involved in the Latvian underground scene, performing at numerous local festivals and forming connections with fellow artists.
In 2019, they released "Vampire in the Summer," which garnered critical acclaim. The album's success led them to join the French-based label Specific Recordings, who produced a vinyl version of the album for international distribution.
Despite facing challenges, including lineup changes and the global pandemic, the band persevered. In the summer of 2022, they embarked on their first tour in France and Belgium, solidifying their reputation as a tight-knit and captivating live act.
