The new single “Fake Love” from the Latvian composer and singer RAUM is considered a continuation of last year's release “Plans”. The main theme in both songs is toxic relationships.
About the song RAUM says:
I'm returning to my roots, punk rock and rock music, blending it with the already familiar RAUM - pop music with a touch of hip hop.
"Fake Love" has been selected amongst other 121 to continue the race in the semi-finals of the Supernova song contest. RAUM will perform on February 4th and compete for a spot in the finals. Last year, RAUM's song "Plans" made it to the finals of the Supernova song contest, which not only came as a pleasant surprise to RAUM himself but also became a significant moment:
I caught onto what I wanted to say and how I wanted to sound with RAUM. I continued to develop it with the subsequent songs "K.O." featuring ZELGIS and "Turbulence". "Fake Love" is the next step in my musical development.
RAUM is a Latvian musician who started his solo career and debuted under Warner Music Baltics in 2020. Before that RAUM (Reinis Straume) has been acting in the band Double Faced Eels, with whom have won Best Cover Ever and got a chance to perform a final duet together with Bebe Rexha.
