Estonian experimental artist Kitty Florentine has self-released a debut single "127", which is the first track from her upcoming album coming in autumn 2022.
The single “127” is a cyclical adventure of a dream gently leaning on the verge of a nightmare. It is a story of one individual's complete destruction of self and the resistance that inevitably accompanies the process. Reality is relative. The track upholds a mirror to the listener, offering a reunion with oneself and the artist, as we are and as we come. The promise of comfort in ways of being, that are well overdue for our own good, lures us in like prey only for us to find ourselves stuck in a loophole of worry and pain. But we can always choose to change.
