On Friday evening, the winners of Lithuania's annual music awards ceremony - M.A.M.A. awards 2021, were announced at Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas.
Justė Arlauskaitė-Jazzu, one of Lithuania's brightest stars, and songwriter and performer Tomas Sinickis hosted the country's most important music event.
The 11th awards ceremony was a true celebration, with spectacular performances, the best music in the country, genius emotions from the artists receiving the awards, uplifting energy from the hosts and the return of the legendary band Dinamika.
This year, 15 prestigious statuettes in various categories were awarded. Justinas Jarutis led the nominations with five nominations, followed by THE ROOP with four categories.
At the end of the night, the leaders of nominations also were the most awarded artists, each taking home 3 awards.
Justinas Jarutis won Music Album of the Year, Artist of the Year and Concert band/performer of the Year categories.
THE ROOP, in addition to Band of the Year and Pop Music Artist of the Year categories, also won the Music Video of the Year award for their upbeat feel good song „Discoteque“.
