On July 30 and 31 in Riga, Latvia on the pop-up summer terrace of “Hanzas Perons” venue, the new city festival – “Can! Be!” will take place, without social distancing. The number of tickets is limited.
A two-day festival in the center of Riga – without keeping distance and without masks. This time also without tents, but with the possibility of not going to sleep at all. An all-new music festival with outstanding foreign and domestic artists of various genres, dancing until you drop and the opportunity to hang out with your friends, as well as to meet new people again.
3 stages, lounge areas, live music and performances, laughter and socializing, dances and conversations, cocktails, and snacks. The freedom to meet and hug each other, and finally stand in line at the bar shoulder to shoulder. Completely safe and without social distancing. All of this and more, come enjoy the fact that we finally CAN! BE! together!
In total, more than 20 domestic and foreign musicians and DJ unions will perform at the festival. Main foreign guests are British dark cabaret cult band The Tiger Lillies, Estonian indie-rock band Ewert and The Two Dragons and German minimalist pianist Niklas Paschburg.
Local artists will include pop-rock band Carnival Youth, jazz-funk band Very Cool People, hip-hop artist Ozols, electronic music artist Sign Libra as well as singer Linda Leen with a live band, music project “TEN KA” by saxophonist Denis Pashkevich with the participation of Kaspars Rolstein, Fiņķis & PRAGAII, Jakob Noiman Festival Band, Regīna, Platons Buravickis, the Matīss Čudars and Ivars Arutjunjans duet, Kautkaili, Orbīta, Kasetes, Elīna Silova, Nikto, DJ set Taran & Lomov, DJ Mareks Ameriks, DJ Pēteris Bajārs and others. On the “Hanzas Perons” summer terrace main stage we will see the well-known artists, but indoor stages of the will be dedicated to a more exploratory and intimate musical atmosphere, as well as DJ sets which will last until three at night.
“The idea of the festival is to revive the much-suffered modern cultural life of Riga and offer music lovers quality pop, rock, hip-hop, electronics and other genres of music to enjoy the real feeling of a summer festival already this year,” the organizers comment.
On both days entrance is from 16.00 and only holders of a valid Covid-19 certificate will be able to attend the festival. Tickets for the festival can be purchased HERE.
