Mixhell represents a groundbreaking fusion of rock and electronica, a genre-bending phenomenon called "Rock-tronica." With an organic and intuitive approach to music, Iggor and Laima have transformed Mixhell into an extraordinary DJ project with a mesmerizing live performance. Utilizing an MPC Sampler, they explore the depths of their music, delving into genres like Electroclash, Hip Hop, Cyber Punk, and dark Rock'n'Roll, resulting in a beat-oriented and pulsating sound.
Adding to the electrifying atmosphere, OIL X GAS, a dynamic synth-rock duo, will kick off the event with its aggressive and energetic sound. Toms Lazdovskis on synthesizers and Matīss Tazāns on drums create a sonic blend of roaring synths and powerful rhythms that will ignite the audience.
Iggor Cavalera, widely acclaimed as the renowned drummer of the Brazilian super band Sepultura, brings his immense talent and infectious energy to Mixhell. With Sepultura, he played a pivotal role in shaping modern Metal music, earning multiple "Best Drummer" titles and contributing to the band's impressive worldwide album sales of over 10 million copies.
Laima Leyton, a music producer hailing from Brazil and currently based in London, joins forces with Iggor to create Mixhell. Drawing from her background at the Museum of Modern Art in Sao Paulo, Laima combines her artistic sensibilities with a passion for music. Over the past 12 years, she has toured the world alongside Iggor Cavalera as Mixhell, collaborating with esteemed artists such as Moby, Buraka Som Sistema, and Diplo.
