OZOLS, one of Latvia's most legendary hip-hop artists, will perform his year-end concert at Arena Riga on December 28th, which will be his most ambitious performance to date, featuring the Latvian Radio Big Band and a number of well-known guest artists. Tickets here.
The OZOLS concert will be divided into two sections: the first will feature a collaboration with the Latvian Radio Big Band and the incomparable Kristīne Prauliņa, who will add a new and rich colour to the already well-known compositions of recent years. Meanwhile, the second part will be a retrospective look at the artist's most brilliant works of art of all time, designed as a performance full of splendid and substantive surprises, with OZOLS joined on stage by a number of other local musicians.
O.Z.O.L.S., Personības rekords, Rajons, Stils, Superhaips, Pavasaris, Saulesstariņš, Tu Nāc Tu Ej, and other well-known and popular hits will be performed at the concert.
"In the arena, I want to bring together all my listeners. Throughout my musical career, I have performed many times in various cities of Latvia on larger and smaller stages. They are different listeners, audiences of different ages, but they have always been united by an interest in my music and my creative work as such. Therefore, it is time to meet everyone together in a powerful several-hour concert show. There will certainly be surprises! The end of December is a good time to reset before the next year, and the concert on December 28th will, first of all, allow us all to spend the outgoing year together and will definitely give us new vigour and energy to enter the year 2024.”

After a hiatus of several years, OZOLS returned to Latvian music in 2015 with his fifth studio album "Atpakaļ nākotnē". During his creative career, OZOLS performed at the Song Festival with a combined choir, visited former President Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga with the group "Austrumubloks," achieved Gold Disc status with the albums "Cieņa un mīlestība" and "Augstāk, tālāk, stiprāk," and received the Latvian Music Recording of the Year Award eight times.
