The band's frontman, Jānis Aišpurs, says:

"Autumn comes with a certain sentiment, because the band's first album "Tavs stāsts" is 10 years old this year! We have decided to indulge in this sentiment by celebrating this festive occasion with two concerts in Riga and Liepāja, where "Tavs stāsts" will be performed from A to Z, probably for the first time in the band's history."

"I can whisper that there are not many seats available for these concerts and there won’t be any additional shows this time, so make sure to get your tickets early. There will also be another event dedicated to the anniversary, but more on that later."

"As for the acoustic concerts in the spring, we had such a heartwarming experience together that we've decided to continue what we started and visit several more concert venues. We look forward to both new meetings and reunions."

"And within this series, there will also be some exciting news that will need some time to mature.”

The Sound Poets were formed in 2011, and “Tavs Stāsts” was their debut album. The band consists of Jānis Aišpurs (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Normunds Lukša (guitar), Undīne Balode (cello, keyboards, backing vocals), Pēteris Lunde (percussion, backing vocals), and Kārlis Josts (bass guitar, guitars, backing vocals).
