Sibyl Vane to celebrate 10th anniversary of their debut album with live shows

Estonian alternative rock band Sibyl Vane will perform four special shows to mark the 10th anniversary of their debut album.

Sibyl Vane's debut album "Love, Holy Water and TV" was released in November 2012 by I Love You Records from Latvia. In years 2012 to 2014 Sibyl Vane played more than 80 shows in Baltics and Scandinavia to present the album.

As the band members agree it was an astonishing start of their career and opened so many doors to them.

"We are grateful to I Love You Records for helping us to make this debut happen," says Helena Randlaht, vocalist and guitarist of Sibyl Vane.

For this special occasion on 04.11.2022 "Love, Holy Water and TV" will be released for the first time on vinyl, cassette and double-CD, which contains album and bonus CD with demos and rarities. Band will be performing a special set on their tour, which contains much of the material from their early days.

"We are really waiting for these shows and playing the old material we haven't played for ten years, reminds us so many things. Of course Riga and Latvia have played an important part in our career," says band's bassist Heiko Leesment.

On Friday 28 October Sibyl Vane released a music video and single "Krishna Sisters". Previously unreleased song that was recorded in a demo session for their debut album in August 2012. Same time they were touring in the Baltics for the first time and the music video contains documentary footage filmed in their shows in Latvia and Lithuania.

Sibyl Vane is an alternative rock band from Estonia, Pärnu. Founded in 2010 by singer and guitarist Helena Randlaht and bassist Heiko Leesment. Through 12 years they have played over 300 shows in Europe and supported Garbage in Riga (2012) and Placebo in Sigulda (2022). Their music has gained attention from foreign critics and they have gained popularity as an energetic and powerful live band. They were signed to Latvian record label I Love You Records in 2012 and since then they have released three studio albums and one live album.
