For the Latvian dance music industry, 2023 has begun with a brand new radio single "Rising Up" from [Ex] da Bass - Latvian DJ, event organizer and EHR radio show host. British singer Ian Janco aka Ian J from London has taken part in the song by recording vocals.
"Rising Up is about new beginnings and striving higher, both in the context of the world's recovery and my musical career. In annual terms, I've set very high goals for myself. The main guideline is self-improvement, both musically and as a DJ - by looking for new horizons and taking advantage of all the opportunities I'll be presented with. I'm ready to say farewell to everything in my life that doesn't bring me joy and fulfilfment, negative people included," says [Ex] da Bass.
After 26 years in the entertainment industry, [Ex] da Bass is willing to keep upgrading his skills and exploring the yet undiscovered expanses. When thinking about the year to come his wish is as follows: "May this year create a sense of fulfillment and give all of us the ability to distinguish the essential from the superfluous, thus making it easier to release!".
