Latvian Music Development Association/Latvian Music Export Office invites musicians, lyricists, vocalists, composers, and producers to be a part of the exciting RIGaLIVE songwriting camp. The ninth session of RIGaLIVE will be taking place in the vibrant city of Riga from November 7th to 9th, and it promises to be an inspiring journey into the world of music creation, with a special focus on music synchronization.
RIGaLIVE is not just a camp; it's a collaborative songwriting workshop with an aim to craft potential radio hits through creative teamwork. This year’s focus is sync (film, TV series, adverts, video games etc) with a special brief by Magdalena Niestryjewska (Head of Sync and Music Supervisor at Jaguarec, Poland) and Elvijs Pārpucis (Musician and Video Director, Latvia).
The first day kicks off with insightful lectures and masterclasses, featuring industry experts. On the following two days, it's all about the creative process, as the participants dive into the art of crafting musical masterpieces.
Throughout each of these creative days, participants will be devided into teams, each consisting of a music author, a performer, and a producer. These teams will then embark on an eight-hour journey to compose and record a demo version of a brand new song or composition.
Every piece created during RIGaLIVE will receive professional feedback from esteemed individuals within both the international and local music industries.
To secure your spot at RIGaLIVE #9, make sure to complete the application form by September 29, 2023. There is a participation fee of €100 (travel and accommodation are not included). The list of accepted participants will be unveiled by October 16.
