Latvian singer-songwriter Marta Grigale, known as MARTA, has released her first international EP, "Wrong Woman”. This exciting new project encapsulates Marta's evolution as a woman and marks her first EP release in the English language, with six tracks that blend pop with alt and indie influences and dances across topics that affect every woman growing up in 2024 with dry wit and earworm hooks.
"Wrong Woman" explores themes of self-worth, coming of age, and female empowerment with catchy melodies and devilishly funny lyrics. Marta is the voice of a woman who has made mistakes, lived life, and finds humor in the messiness of growing up. The EP features collaborations with UK producer Kristofer Harris, known for his work with Belle & Sebastian and GhostPoet, and includes 6 songs created across the UK, Latvia, and Estonia. Marta shares:
“This EP marks a significant moment in my music journey. ‘Wrong Woman’ is not just a collection of songs; it's a reflection of my evolution, a testament to the challenges I've overcome, and a celebration of where I am now. I'm thrilled to unveil this chapter and connect with a global audience.”
