Musician Rick Feds releases the second single “Crickets”, which was made in collaboration with singer Annemaria, and surprises with an unusual sound for Latvia.
The smoky but summery sound of Rick Feds’ second single “Crickets” is suitable for a rainy evening of reflection or, on the contrary, will be a charge of energy for the beginning of the day. The work was created in collaboration with the young Latvian singer Annemaria, whose velvety timbre filled with soul music creates a magical mood.
The song fits into the style of both pop music and electronic music, including the sound of acoustic instruments. It tells of the artist’s search for one’s creator and a deeper understanding of the meaning of life.
Latvian musician Rick Feds, who is gaining more and more popularity worldwide, always surprises listeners with new works and technological innovations. The music producer and performer is recognized as one of the “Topfinger-drumming” representatives in the world. He is the first Latvian artist to represent the six largest musical instrument companies. The long-term experience in academic and jazz music has endowed the artist with skills that take the performance of electronic beat music to a new level – regardless of time and space.
In March the musician was scheduled for the second US concert tour, which was cancelled the day before departure, due to Covid-19. This has given time to create new material and various digital collaboration opportunities with the world’s best music producers. The stylistically glorious result of these collaborations will be available in the autumn when the musician’s first album “Future Human” is to be expected.
The new single “Crickets” is available on all streaming platforms and on August 26th Rick Feds will perform at the cultural bar “Balodis” as part of the concert series “Electronic Balodis”. Warm up by DJ Veronika Kerry.
“The concert series “Electronic Pigeon” is based on the fact that there are so many local electronic music artists who usually perform at night and often in places not known to wider audiences. Therefore, the listeners of “Electronic Pigeon” have a good opportunity to get acquainted with electronic, modular and synthesized sounds during the day and create their own opinion,” says the curator of the concert series Laura Leonaite.
The event “Electronic Pigeon” (“Elektroniskais Balodis”) will take place on August 26,from 18:00 to 23:30 in Pārdaugava district, at the cultural bar “Balodis” (“Pigeon”), Baložu Street 16A.
