Musicians and bands from Latvia and Estonia, this is your chance to shine in front of big crowds and surprise Hurts fans. Apply for the opening act spot!
We, bobe.me in cooperation with L Tips Agency, invite bands and solo artists from Latvia and Estonia to participate in a Hurts warm-up act contest for a chance to be the opening act for the show in your country. We are looking for 2 local artists in each country.
Manchester duo Hurts will perform in Estonia, Tallinn, on July 25th and in Latvia, Sigulda, on July 26th. Unique opportunity to be chosen by the captivating band Hurts and discovered across music fans. Are you ready to show what you got on a big stage?
Here is how to participate: Send your application to info@bobe.me with a “Hurts opening act” in the subject line. In the message include the following:
• Short bio in English about your band
• 2 videos. Link to your live show video and official music video (YouTube/Vimeo or via file transfer service)
• Describe in 1-2 sentences what your band will add to the show
• Attach promo photos (horizontal and vertical format)
Application deadline – June 14th!
And the winner is…
From all the applications received by June 14th a selection of bands will be presented to Hurts, who will choose their favourites. The selection of artists will be created by jury of contest organisers – bobe.me, L Tips Agency, and a fan vote on bobe.me Instagram.
After all applications will be received, the applications along with more info about the fan vote will be published on bobe.me website on June 15th.
Fan vote on Instagram stories will be led in two rounds for each country. In the first round all applied artists will take part. Based on the most received votes, 4 artists will get to the next, final round. In the final round 2 bands with the highest vote count will get into the selection, which will be introduced to Hurts.
Band's favourites, 2 artists from Latvia and 2 from Estonia, will be announced in the week of 19.06. – 25.06.
NB! Please note that by sending an application your band agrees to enter this competition, and in case of being chosen as the opening act for Hurts, will cover your own travel, technical and any additional expenses for performance in your local country.
