Elizabete Gaile shares a new song "Zinu, ka pāries" - uplifting mantra to guide you through hardships

Latvian singer-songwriter Elizabete Gaile has released a new single "Zinu, ka pāries". The song is written in collab with Kristaps Ērglis, Māra Upmane-Holšteine and Arturas Burke.

"We all go through different emotions every day, and we all know what it's like when it hurts, when we are going through hard times and there's no peace. There are times when it feels like it's not okay and we don't really see the light that will show us that everything will be okay again. It is so important to be aware of the hardships and believe that whatever comes over and hurts us will pass. This song is like a mantra that strengthens you in those difficult moments."

Elizabete shares that she is happy with the result of the song though it came out different than it was planned in the beginning. During the songwriting process they got a bit stuck with the sound, and Elizabete started humming a different melody, which took the whole story to a completely new song.

Elizabete Gaile is a Latvian indie pop singer and songwriter - most of her music is written at the piano. Her song "Miera iela" became one of the most played Latvian songs in 2023. Some of her highlights have been her performances at the Positivus festival, as well as the Astro'n'out concert at Arena Riga at the end of 2023 as a special guest with a backing band. Elizabete is currently actively working on new music with the aim of releasing her EP / album soon.
