Atmospheric Intsikurmu Festival invites music lovers to southern Estonia

Intsikurmu festival

The Intsikurmu atmosphere festival will take place on the 5th and 6th of August in Põlva. Colorful music, art, nature, and creative people will form a unique symbiosis in the Intsikurmu forest park for you to enjoy. Tickets here.

The festival's music program is divided into three stages, and this year's music program has included several new and old artists from Estonia and further afield. Among domestic artists, YASMYN, with a stage show specially created for Intsikurmu, Minimal Wind, Ewert Sundja, Maris Pihlap, Taavi-Peeter Liiv, Kitty Florentine, Stone Killer 91, and Mahavok will take the stage at the festival. The Danish indie band Efterklang, the English rap artist NOISY, the legendary experimental jazz cultivator Jaga Jazz from Norway, The Roop from Lithuania and the rock bands The Holy from Finland and Django Django from England add foreign spice.

"The goal of Intsikkurmu has always been to offer exciting and fresh - still somewhat undiscovered - talent and to mix it with already known artists. It is this symbiosis between the new and the old that makes Intsikurmu Intsikurmu," explains Mihkel Kübar, one of the organizers of the festival, behind the scenes of this year's organizational process.

Inspiring beauty amidst the primal forest park where Intsikurmu Festival is held, will surprise you on the tenth year of the festival with its fresh ideas and solutions. To stimulate your mind further, you will find a chess corner, a forest cinema, exciting performances, and a street food court. Additionally, the Lastekurmu program awaits children.

Get ready and dive into the forest adventure with Intsikurmu Festival!
