Sunsusi summer festival will take place 12-14 August in Aknīste, Latvia. This will be the festival's ninth year. Meanwhile, as the New Year approaches, they have prepared for you and your friends a wonderful Sansusi winter episode 2021 programme, which will start at 10pm on New Year's Eve and continue to at least 2am New Year's morning.
The New Year's Eve Sunsusi special will be full of many different musical moments, poetry, experimental storytelling comedic episodes, and a speech to welcome in the New Year, followed by a really wild disco with dynamite DJ Nieris.
In the five-hour special programme on sansusi.lv online stage will perform opera singers Ieva Parša, Jolanta Strikaite, Edgars Auniņš, Ansis Bētiņš and Armands Siliņš. In addition, there will be music from accordian player Artūrs Noviks, pianists Ēvalds Lazarevičs and Rihards Plešanovs, violinist Paula Šūmane, and performances by actors Jana Ļisova, Mārtiņš Upenieks and Elizabete Skrastiņa. The programme will be complemented further by wordsmiths Marija Luīze Meļķe, Alberto and Valters Dakša, theatre troupe Kvadrifrons, chamber music ensembles Tresensus and Quadra and violinist Konstantīns Paturskis. You will hear the Jakob Noiman band and sound artist Platons Buravickis, and be able to enjoy the work of choreographer Madara Luīze Muzikante, actor and musician Artūrs Čukurs, percussionist Ernests Vilsons and DJ Nieris.
Tickets are available now at sansusi.lv, and the programme for ticketholders will be accessable until January 3. In addition, they offer 50 earlybird tickets to the Sunsusi summer festival 2022 for the discounted price of 35 EUR each. However, if you would like to support the festival, Sansusi have tickets for the regular price of 50 EUR and 100 EUR for real fans and suppoters.
