With impressive list of warm-up bands In Flames will rock stage in Tallinn and Riga

In Flames

Swedish band In Flames will perform in Tallinn and Riga this autumn, bringing to the audience an exciting setlist of tracks from their three decades of playing together, including material from the latest studio album “I, The Mask”. At The Gates, Imminence and Orbit Culture will perform as special guests.

12.11. Estonia, Club Helitehas

13.11. Latvia, Palladium Riga

Much has changed since the beginning of the band’s journey, but one thing has not, In Flames’ ability to distinguish themselves from other bands around the world. Sweden’s leading metal band has never stopped moving forward during the years they’ve been performing. The melodic death metal of the band’s early days has since evolved into a unique expression, manifested in 13 albums like “A Sense of Purpose”, “Sounds of a Playground Fading”, “Siren Charms” and their latest release, “I, The Mask” recorded in Los Angeles with multi Grammy-nominated producer, Howard Benson.

“I, The Mask” once again sees the band continue their ever expanding evolution of genre bending melodic death metal. The record charted #1 in Sweden and Austria, #2 in Germany and #1 in US Top Rock and Metal Albums. The band’s lead guitarist Björn Gelotte has said that “I just know I’m very proud of it, the songs are written to be played live. We’ve shown a lot of natural progression from “Battles” and what we have done previously. It’s kind of a time stamp to where we are musically. So yeah, I’m excited!”

That relentless drive to innovate in light of their success is something that's been inherent in In Flames' approach from day one and it's something they've never lost sight of despite their countless accolades and constant reinventions.

”We decided early on we are going to do this band our way and aren't going to think about what the flavor of the month is,” explains Gelotte. “That may sound like a cliché but it's true. We need the music to be as interesting to us as it is to our fans because this has never just been a job for us, it's a way of life.”

Swedish heavy metal band In Flames will perform in Tallinn and Riga with Anders Fridén (vocal), Björn Gelotte (lead guitar), Niclas Engelin (rhythm guitar), Bryce Paul (bass guitar), Tanner Wayne (drums). In Flames is a band that fans around the world can rely on, inspiring their fans, the Jesterheads, to live by the phrase “In Flames We Trust”.
