Interview: Sunboy Chris Noah talks crushes, new music and views on Latvia's music scene

bobe.me team met up with Latvian sunboy Chris Noah at Positivus Festival after his show to talk about his latest and upcoming releases. Last time we talked with Chris Noah was 3 years ago, so we went over what has changed and happened during this time, both - depressive and happy moments.

Chris didn't hide his plans and revealed what music fans can expect in the nearest future. At the show we heard new song that is about to be released soon. Stay tuned and listen to latest release "Sunboy".

Chris Noah is a shining star in Latvia's indie music scene, so we asked his thoughts on music industry in Latvia. Here is what musician said:

"It's developing in a good sense, it's evolving and I guess we're getting closer to what European top bands are doing and that's good. Obviously we still have a room to grow, but I feel like the young generations sees the music and perceives the music differently. We don't have that old heritage that some of even people my age have still in their way of writing, in their way of consuming music. They still have that old heritage that is kinda, you know, not different, but it's just not really cool in any other place than Latvia. I hope I'm not offending anyone."

If you want to look back in time and get to know the artist more, check out our interview from 2019th.
