The festival has just added Offset from Migos, the dynamic British rock band Nothing But Thieves, the enchanting Benjamin Clementine, multiple Grammy Award-winning and outstanding jazz pianist Jacob Collier with his mesmerizing solo show “The Djesse Solo Show”, Arcade Fire member's Will Butler project Will Butler & Sisters Squares, rising indie stars Picture Parlour, and the local legends Detlef and Ozols, making it an event not to be missed for music fans worldwide.

The festival continues to bring the biggest hip-hop music stars to the Baltics. Offset, who began his career in 2011 as a member of the legendary Atlanta group Migos, will make his debut in Riga, performing songs from his acclaimed solo album "Set It Off”, which received 60 million streams in its first week of release. As part of the album promotion, the rapper has gone on tour in the USA and Europe, including a stop at the Positivus Festival.
British rock band Nothing But Thieves is at the peak of their popularity, and few people remember them performing at the Positivus Festival in the early days. The band was formed in 2012 and has grown in popularity around the world over the last 12 years. Their discography, which consists of three albums and several singles, has been streamed nearly one billion times. They are ready to captivate the audience with their anthemic hits such as "Amsterdam", "Soda", "Is Everybody Going Crazy?", and, most recently, "Overcome", and "Welcome to the DCC" from their 2023 album "Dead Club City". Nothing But Thieves set is sure to be one of the festival's highlights.
Multiple Grammy Award winner, jazz pianist, and brilliant musician Jacob Collier brings his unparalleled talent to the stage with his unique "Djesse Solo Show". The talented multi-instrumentalist has performed in the world's largest arenas and festivals and his show promises to be an unforgettable experience for festival attendees.
Benjamin Clementine, a British musician, could be described as experimental yet modern. He began his musical career in France in 2008, performing in various small bars and events until the release of his debut album "Cornerstone" in 2013, which received praise from musicians such as Paul McCartney. Since then, his success has continued. The artist has captivated people all over the world with his two self-produced albums and one-of-a-kind vocals and performances, and he is now coming to Riga to share his raw talent and artistic brilliance.
Brooklyn-based indie rock band Sister Squares teamed up with Arcade Fire musician Will Butler to explore new horizons together. The group's first joint project, "Will Butler + Sister Squares," was released in 2023 and received critical acclaim for songs like "Willows" and "Long Grass," characterized by airy sounds and uplifting melodies. This is not the group's first visit to Latvia; in 2023, they successfully performed their first concert at the Palladium concert hall, and if you missed it, now is your chance to experience it again.
Detlef, a local cult group, captured the hearts of fans across Latvia with their 2004 album "Tu Izliecies Par Sevi". Despite a hiatus, the group has returned in full force. In 2023, they sold out a concert at Palladium and announced additional concerts. Positivus Festival this year is no exception! It will be a treat for anyone looking to indulge in nostalgia or simply enjoy some good Latvian rock music.
Rapper OZOLS – often called the "King of Latvian Rap,” is unquestionably responsible for initiating and laying the foundation for the Latvian rap movement. He began his career with the group "Fact" in 1995 and has remained at the top of the genre's rankings for almost 20 years. He has been nominated for the “Zelta Mikrofons" award for his album "1979" and his concert at Arena Riga.
The rapidly rising indie group Picture Parlour from Manchester began their journey in 2021, regularly performing at venues such as "The Windmill" in England, known as one of the most successful places for emerging musicians to perform. They experienced their first taste of fame in the summer of 2023, when they released their debut single "Norwegian Wood". Their sound has been compared to that of legends such as Arctic Monkeys and Amy Winehouse. The group has supported The Kills on their European tour as well as embarked on their own tour across the continent. This will be Picture Parlour's first performance in Riga but certainly not the last.
