The Latvian indie rock band Sub Scriptum announces its new EP album, which was publicly recorded at the shopping center at the beginning of this year, and releases a music video for their new song "Mūsu Vasara". The new single is about the warm summer nights that we all wish we could rewind again and again so they never end.
As a little reminder to our readers, at the beginning of this year Sub Scriptum organized an improvised recording studio called "SUB BŪRIS" in the shopping center "AKROPOLE Alfa". There, four songs were publicly written over the course of four days, with guest artists such as Ozols, Andrejs Osokins, Nils Īle, and producer Kaspars Ansons participating in the creative process. Work productivity was facilitated by online streaming on the Internet, which could be viewed by those viewers who could not visit the band in person.
Before starting work at "SUB BŪRIS", the band released the single "Ievēlies", which will also be included in the forthcoming album. In the song "Piedodiet", they collaborated with the outstanding pianist Andrejs Osokins, who took on this kind of challenge for the first time. He also appreciates the opportunity to work with the producer Kaspars Ansons, which allowed him to express himself both virtuosically and concisely. The song "112" was written together with percussionist Nils Īle, who visited the band's studio with his entire orchestra. Finally, the band's collaboration with the rapper Ozols in the creation of the song turned out to be quite amusing. Listen to the new album "SUB BŪRIS" on all streaming platforms.
On May 16, Sub Scriptum management will organize a pop-up concert in Liepāja in cooperation with the sound/light company "100DB". On May 17, the band will have a gig at "Rock Cafe" in Riga.
In both concert programs, songs from the new EP album "SUB BŪRIS" will be heard for the first time, in addition, the guests will be entertained with the band's most popular songs of all time. The entrance is free of charge for both events.
