Sóley on Mother Melancholia, musical journey and personal challenges

Best of Baltic Entertainment met up with Icelandic artist Sóley moments before her concert at "Latvija" Concert Hall in Ventspils. In interview she talks about her journey in music, latest album 'Mother Melancholia', life changes after becoming a mother and plans for the future.

Sóley Stefánsdóttir has been known for more than a decade as a solo artist, multi-instrumentalist and composer, but the artist was certainly recognized by the audience as one of the members of the indie-folk band “Seabear”. Since the debut of “Pretty Face” single, the following three albums, important concert tours and participation in festivals, Sóley's delicate and dreamy surrealism-contented compositions have strengthened a wide range of fans around the world.
