Carnival Youth release a very milky music video

The Latvian indie band Carnival Youth have released a new music video for the song "Piena Ceļš" (eng. Milky Way). More than 70 litres of milk were used in the video making.

"Piena Ceļš" is a song from the Latvian film "Sprīdītis" released in 1985, originally written by composer Imants Kalniņš, words by Māra Zālīte. In 2021 the band released Latvian film music album "Naivais ku-kū".

Carnival Youth is one of the most successful new generation bands from the Baltic region, as proved by The European Border Breakers award they received at Eurosonic 2016. Carnival Youth fuse neat melodic lines with the energy of alternative rock and indie music, while their emotion range varies from youthful melancholia to pure, bright joy.
