From 3rd - 9th of January visit Cēsis and explore spatial music event. In the middle of the large hall of the Cēsis Concert Hall, there will be a specially designed dome equipped with a surround sound system and numerous speakers. The listeners' seats will be located inside it. Specially for this event, Latvian and Lithuanian contemporary music composers have created new electroacoustic compositions.
Thanks to the placement of many sound sources in the room and the dynamic music score, the listener will be able to enjoy a completely new sound experience, which can be described as: "I am in the middle of sound, it is around me!". Thanks to the darkened atmosphere that will reign in the dome and the light projections, this adventure will take you to an as yet unknown and brand new world of feelings and emotions.
Compositions of spatial music by Platon Buravick, Roland Kronlak, Linda Leimane and Lithuanian composers Mantauta Krukauskas and Mata Šablauska will be played in the dome. Session duration 40 minutes. Number of people per session - 30. Tickets can be purchased here.
