Chapter three of Judith Parts conceptual album

Copenhagen-based Estonian composer, music producer, violinist and singer Judith Parts released a single "Family" from her upcoming conceptual album "Meadowsweet". In the new single "Family", the author discusses the nature of family and describes how to hide in love despite the chaos.

The new album tells a story divided into six chapters, which step by step reveals Judith's journey and the thoughts that inspired her during her move to Copenhagen and her time abroad. Judith Parts' new album “Meadowsweet" is inspired by Nordic plants, her roots and her family line. Judith reflects:

When you move abroad, you inevitably start thinking about home.

In addition to music, magical visuals will be released with each chapter in collaboration with jewellery artist Claudia Lepik, photographer Todd Richter, videographer Pille Kannimäe and stylist Liisa-Chrislin Saleh. Judith Parts have already released the single "Meadowsweet" and chapter one from her conceptual album.

Judith Parts' first solo EP "Udu" was released in May 2020. Her music combines acoustic instruments with electronics and field recordings, often incorporating the violin and her voice. Growing up in Estonia Judith was exposed to a lot of wild nature. She has a particular interest in the connection, and dissonance that humans have with nature and a lot of her work is inspired by that relationship. In addition to this solo project, she has also created music for several theatre and dance productions and multimedia installations.
