Raimonds Pauls and the Latvian Radio Big Band have released a new jazz record
The record includes jazz suites composed by pianist and composer Raimonds Pauls in the 1960s, which were re-recorded in the Latvian Radio studio where Maestro played together with the Latvian Radio Big Band.
The album was a spontaneous idea and experiment for both of us. Each song on the album is completely free improvisation with no previously discussed chords, melodies, or shapes.
